KINDERGARTEN & NEW INCOMING STUDENT REGISTRATION
STEP 1: Enter your address HERE to know your elementary school of preference for the first step.
STEP 2: Complete student enrollment HERE.
STEP 3: Once approved, follow the instructions on the approved enrollment email.
PRESCHOOL (4 years old by August 1, 2025)

CURRENT STUDENT 2025-2026 REGISTRATION
Option 1: PowerSchool Webpage (dekalbcentral.powerschool.com)

- Select the student you are registering, and click on the "Forms" link within the left navigation menu.
- Complete all 25-26 Registration forms.
Option 2: PowerSchool Mobile App

- Select the student you are registering, and click the "More" icon in the bottom right hand corner.
- Select "Forms" and complete all 25-26 Registration forms.

2025-2026 TRANSFER REQUEST
Transfer requests are made HERE.
This applies to the following students:

- Students wanting to transfer into the DeKalb Central school district or
- DeKalb Central, Elementary/PreK students wanting an intra-district transfer to attend a different elementary.

This is a yearly requirement for all transfer students. Prior accepted transfer requests will need to be renewed at the beginning of each school year.
TRANSPORTATION REQUEST
Transportation requests for 2024-2025 are made HERE.
Transportation requests for 2025-2026 will not be open until May 2025.
The office staff is available during normal school hours if you need in-person assistance.
